Galvin Dawson - Director
Galvin Dawson, Director of Finance Edge Australia Pty Ltd has been in the mortgage broking industry since 2003.
In this time he has achieved numerous awards including Citibank Broker of the Year in 2008, ranked 28th in the Mortgage Professional Australia Top 100 Brokers list for 2009 and ranked 94th in 2010. Galvin achieved Diamond Sales Master status from PLAN Australia in 2007 and 2008 and Platinum Sales Master status in 2009. Just recently, Galvin was again awarded with Sales Master status in 2010.
Before entering the Finance industry, Galvin completed a Bachelor of Science degree at UWA in 2000, graduating with First Class Honours with a major in Geology. Galvin joined his father Emile in the mortgage broking industry shortly thereafter and they have worked together since.
Aside from broking, Galvin played WACA cricket for both South Perth and Perth Cricket Clubs for over 20 years and hockey for the Vic Park Panthers in his younger days. He enjoys most sports and in particular watching the Fremantle Dockers, and hobbies include travelling, music and photography. Galvin also supports World Vision.
